Well, it feels like the needles are working. I did take a photo on the table to share with you, but that may have to wait since it is on a new cell phone that I have not figured out yet.
I have had some cool daydreams in my sessions and feel myself getting more grounded and having more energy for about 24 hours after each appointment. After that at times, I do need one good night sleep a week - 10 hours if at all possible, but am hoping with more treatments, the time of excess energy, grounding and clear-mindedness will last longer and longer.
Some cool bonuses have been the changes I see - my legs have stopped aching as much, I do not feel as spacey in the afternoon, I feel stronger in who I am and am not taking as much smack from others and have stopped being as affected by some of the mishigas (great yiddish word my grandmother taught me meaning craziness) that some of my family members dish out.
I feel more relaxed, more energy- no more falling asleep at 8:30 pm, but I know I still have a ways to go.

What does not kill you, makes you stronger, right?
Ok, so I have been trying to add some exercise into the mix, but man, I am not in the shape I used to be. 20 laps at the pool, and I thought my chest might explode.
That said exercise is important for CF sufferers. Listen to yourself and pay attention to your body. I have found that 30 minutes at a time per day works best for me, at least for now.

How much water?
I know that I am bad about drinking water, so I went out and bought myself one of those obnoxious gallon jugs with a handle. We'll see how long I am my bladder can last.

Gluten-Free Waffles
While I wish I could post some delectible homemade gluten-free waffle recipes like some of you other blogging cooks, I am lucky if I can even grab a bite of anything on my way out the door during the morning rush to work, and not trip on the ice on my way to the car.
I was so happy to find these delicious gluten-free waffles at our local mountain grocery store, but I usually wait till they are on sale if I can. There are several flavors, but I like the wild berry, it gives it a little kick.

My accupuncturist recommended Congee.

Think cream of wheat or rice oatmeal, gluten-free style.
You can add almonds, walnuts, goji berries, cinnamon ginger, squash, or honey to spice it up.
2 serving Mahatma Brown Rice Natural Whole Grain Rice
4 cup Water
2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground, 1 Tsp
3 tsp Sugar - Raw Turbinado
Cook Water and Brown Rice 45 minutes.
Second Recipe
1 part grain (Rice, Millet, Barley, Rye, Whole Oats, Amaranth, Quinoa)
4 parts water
Fruits, nuts, spices or herbs
In Crock pot- On low all night 8 hours.
You may have to play with the grain to water measurements to get it how you like it.
Yum

Protein Style
I hate to admit it, but when I lived in LA, I used to peruse In and Out Burger a time or two and order the Protein Style Burger. Basically it is a burger sans bun wrapped in lettuce for those obsessing about the Atkins diet back in the day.
Although my handlers have told me not to eat red meat, they have also told me to protein it up.
Protien Rich Breakfast Options:
Organic oatmeal, soymilk, or goat’s milk, 3 Tbsp. fresh ground flaxmeal
*
Hot brown rice cereal w/cinnamon, green tea
*
Organic cottage cheese with flax oil, organic fruit or raw nuts (almonds, walnuts), green tea
*
Organic yogurt (no sugar), 1 Tbsp. flax oil or 3 Tbsp. ground flaxmeal,
½ cup organic berries
*
Poached organic omega-3 eggs or three egg omelet, sweet potatoes w/rosemary
*
2 organic eggs any style, 1 slice gluten free toast or waffle, 3 tablespoons freshly ground flaxmeal

Ahh, Amino's
Suddenly, it felt like a block hit my head from behind- well at least metaphorically.
Oddly lincoln logs look like amino acids.
I should have remembered from my days in college studying nutrition- I am going to add Amino Acids to my regime.
If I could have half the energy of my three year old, I would be doing great.
